Hey there....
I'm Hailey! I originally grew up in a small town in Essex, Connecticut before moving to the south. Shortly after high school, I met the love of my life and now husband while he was stationed on one of the largest submarine bases. It wasn't long before we moved to northern New Hampshire for two years while he finished his first Naval contract. Our final destination was Charleston, South Carolina where we have prospered and grown roots.
Currently, I am a Pre-Law student with the dream of working within the legal field and becoming a lawyer to make a difference in the world. Moving to South Carolina has given my family and I so many opportunities to grow including within my education. For a majority of my life, I was waitressing full time for years and years, even when we moved here I continued to do so....
......I became very unhappy with my continuous job of not having a consistent schedule and the grueling hours of being on my feet for over 14 hours a day without a break. I began believing there was no way out and no employment opportunities that I could enjoy and genuinely love.
It wasn't until my best friend started her own successful photography business that I reflected and realized that I had to start putting myself and mental health first.
More About Me....
I remembered loving photography when I was little and my first camera being a small handheld Canon that I was completely attached to. I began making photo albums of different flowers I found within our local area as well as wildlife. I loved every second of it and thought, why can't I do this now? Why can't I have a job that I genuinely love that gives me that same passion and inspiration in life?
I called my husband that same day and him always being my biggest supporter, his words were, "Go for it." That was all I needed to hear, I gave my waitressing job my notice and started my photography journey!
Photography has given me the creative freedom and lifestyle I so desperately have wanted and love! This would not be possible without my amazing clients that give me the opportunity to capture their most beautiful and raw moments they can cherish forever!
I have never had a job that felt so rewarding and meaningful, knowing that I am providing important memories for people.
